Resort 2026 · The Harbor Print

Our Resort 2026 takes you on a visual journey to Mumbai — the City of Dreams. Inspired by a wanderlust-driven woman exploring this coastal metropolis, the collection captures Mumbai's vibrant spirit, where city life meets the sea. Its iconic Gothic, Art Deco, and Indo-Saracenic architecture lines the horizon, with striking prints echoing the city's eclectic energy.

Mumbai is a city that never fully separates from the ocean. Its oldest districts rise from land reclaimed from the Arabian Sea, its skyline shaped by colonial-era buildings that hold centuries of maritime trade. The harbour is the city's original heart — and it is here, in the layered light of salt air and architecture, that the Harbor print was born. The woman this collection was made for moves through the world with intention: drawn to places with history, atmosphere, and beauty that rewards closer looking.

City of Dreams pieces travel with her — from dinner in a Colaba neighbourhood restaurant to a sunset on Marine Drive, from a rooftop in Miami to a weekend on the coast of Maine. The collection was built for all of it.

The Harbor Print

Every Beyond by Vera print begins as an original illustration — hand-drawn by Vera Fritsch and her team of print designers. The Harbor print was conceived from the visual language of Mumbai's waterfront: the way afternoon light breaks across the harbour, the geometric rhythms of the city's architecture meeting the organic movement of the sea. Each motif was built from scratch. The result is a pattern that feels atmospheric rather than literal — at once architectural and fluid, city and sea.

The print comes in two colorways, each with a distinct mood. Harbor Azure is a deep, saturated blue — the blue of the Arabian Sea at midday, the blue of Mumbai's Art Deco facades against a cloudless sky. Harbor Silver Mist is softer, more atmospheric: the colour of morning light on the water before the city fully wakes, all quiet silver and blue-grey. Two ways to wear the same story.

"Mumbai gave us the architecture, the light, and the sense of movement. The Harbor print is all of that — the city and the sea, always together, never quite still."

✦ How to Wear It — Day & NightAzure: The Kennedy with nude heels and a single gold cuff — from a morning meeting to an evening out. Silver Mist: The Sailor with white loafers and a linen tote for Saturday in the city; the Pearl with strappy heels and a statement earring for dinner. Both colorways move from understated to quietly luminous depending on how you accessorise.

About City of Dreams

What to wear for a summer city break or urban holiday?

A summer city break calls for pieces that can handle heat, distance, and an evening without a wardrobe change. The City of Dreams collection was designed around this: prints inspired by Mumbai's coastal energy — Art Deco architecture, Gothic skylines, the unending presence of the sea — rendered in colours that work from morning sightseeing to evening dining. These are clothes that travel well and look better in motion.

Who designed the Harbor print?

The Harbor print was hand-drawn by Vera Fritsch and her team of print designers. Every Beyond by Vera print begins as an original illustration — created in-house, from scratch, never sourced from existing artwork.

What colorways does the Harbor print come in?

The Harbor print is available in two colorways: Harbor Azure, a deep saturated blue evoking the Arabian Sea at midday; and Harbor Silver Mist, a softer atmospheric palette of cool greys and blue-silver. Both are part of the City of Dreams Resort 2026 collection.

What is a good dress for a coastal city in summer — from Mumbai to Miami?

Any city where the skyline meets the water calls for a certain kind of dressing — something that can move between the cultural and the casual, the formal and the relaxed. The City of Dreams Harbor print was designed for exactly this kind of life: pieces that feel as right in a Mumbai restaurant as they do at a Miami rooftop or a Sydney harbour dinner. Both the Sailor dress and Kennedy dress work across this full range.
